I like how Mike Geary strives to get you to develop a healthier lifestyle so you should know that this is more than just a fitness manual but more of a lifestyle guide. Some of the explanations can be a bit too detailed for some readers (which may be a disadvantage) but overall, I like to know why something I eat or do is good for me.
Overall, Mike Geary makes the case for increased muscle mass, places a bigger emphasis on weight training than on cardio workouts, and believes in clean eating. Following the Truth About Abs program does require a considerable amount of effort as the workouts will be intensive and challenging. However, this is really the only way to get flat and firm abs so there is no escaping effort.
